2014 - a mouse oddysey - Page 3

It's very similar, actually. I found the Goliathus Speed to be inconsistent between moving left to right and up to down. The Talent is very consistent in all direction. It doesn't seem to get dirty as quickly as the Speed, and the size is perfect.

My biggest issue with the Speed is the graphics. I think it would be on a whole different level if they just made it flat black without the Fragged razer logo splattered all over it. I've found that the logo caused some inconsistencies in tracking on some of my mice.

The biggest positive of the Goliathus is the stitched edges. That really extends the life of the pad.

Also isn't the Speed slower than the Control and the Talent?

Not by much. It's more similar to the Roccat Taito than the Talent, but they're all in the same ballpark. The control is faster, but it's finish is MUCH different than the other three.

Oh alright, that actually makes sense. I know the Control surface is way different. Many people say the 2014 Control is complete crap though.

It has it's issues. It'll rub your wrist raw and some sensors quit tracking over the rough surface.
