Cpu fan jumping from minimum to maximum speed all the time

I chose to write that thread in the Intel motherboard section, as I'm pretty sure it's related to the way MSI Command Center control the fans on my MSI Z87 MPower motherboard. Ever since I tried that software to overclock, I've been having somewhat of a new problem: the fan goes from minimum speed (at idle), but for every time the cpu spikes in cpu usage, the fan goes to 100%. So we hear the fan constantly going up and down. Before the fan be completly silent as it never reached 100% fan speed.

Now I clicked 'Default' to go back to default, the cpu is indeed back to 3.5Ghz (showing turbo core multipliers to 39-39-38-37 for the four cores). But the cpu fan isn't back to normal. I did press 'Fan Tune' while I was running Prime95, thinking it would help fan temps somehow. Since then I stopped Prime95, and at idle pressed the 'fan tune' button again, but it didn't change anything to the fan going 100% on cpu spikes usage. (cpu spikes as in at idle the cpu is at 800MHz but every seconds it jumps a bit to 1.8Ghz to 3.5Ghz in between, depending on mouse movements and whatnot)

Anyone has a clue how I can have a full fan speed reset, somewhat?

Ok well, I rebooted and the fan scales with the cpu usage again. Hmm... makes you wonder how MSI Command Center works. Anyone familiar with that software, at the very least?
