Personally I'm glad that asus is cutting some of the gold.

The deluxe actually looks pretty neat since the only thing on the board that isn't black/grey are the heatsinks. And even those look more metallic than the previous bright yellow gold stuff we've seen.

Can't wait to see the successor to X79 WS... Pretty much the only modern board with proper heatsinks. I'm actually more excited for X99 teasers

That deluxe board is beautiful.

The ROG stuff looks nice as usual, not sure about that new Deluxe. Definitely an improvement on the z87 boards, less yellow and more black+gold. The circular heatsink is certainly novel.

Few interesting details:

- The deluxe and sabertooth both have dual SATA Express ports on the them.

- The Maximus VII Gene looks like it's using a daughter card for the audio similar to the mini ITX Maximus VI Impact
