Not sure what you mean about 'TUF thing' but I love my Sabertooth..although it is x79

This time I guess they're just going to take their time with the extreme since K-series SKUs aren't coming out until mid-late summer.
probably they wanna binned the chipset for extreme, or just want to z97 to be more mature b4 hitting the market.

Me to I've been waiting Nearly a year now after reading that the x99 will be the first boards to support ddr4 and the broadwell cpu. Sad part is , it's my first build
post #44 of 131
^I really don't understand what's all the hype around ddr4...
People talk about it as if it will change anything, it won't change a thing.
Less power more speed, I'm sure people changing from DDR2 to DDR3 thought the same though. And it's not like I will be upgrading from DDR3.

The ROG boards look almost exactly the same, just stretched. Do not like.

VRM Heatsink looks awful!

Why can't they use copper/aluminum fin stack array like seen on the X79 WS ?

Looking at the slots on the mobo my guess is that for the next series of mobos asus is going to go black and grey only.
