GTX 560 with 144hz & power saving

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
monitor refesh rate - gpu clock during idle, browsing internet etc.
144hz = 900mhz (constant)
120hz = 450mhz (constant)
100hz = 50mhz (variable)
100hz or less =50mhz (variable)

GPU usage is mostly 0%
Global power setting - adaptive
Idle @ 144hz = 57c
Idle @ 100hz or less = 34c
Any possible way to fix this without having to upgrade my gpu ?

System specifications:
Phenom II X4 - 3.7ghz
GTX 560 - 900mhz
2x4 (8gb) - 1333
Windows 8
VG248QE

This is driver fault, not your cards lack of power. Just set your desktop to 110hz and games to 120hz.
