750 Ti vs 750 Ti SC

Thread Starter
I'm upgrading a fairly old Core 2 Duo (E6500) computer with a 750 Ti. I am dead set on this card because not only can it work with my current computer, it has all of the GPU muscle I need so I will probably repurpose it in my new build until I feel the need to upgrade.

Theres the standard, run of the mill, blue collar EVGA 750 Ti and then there is the SuperClocked version. I know since the SC version is factory overclocked that it will be faster than the normal one, but I want to know if its worth the $5 extra. I can get both on Amazon Prime (Free two day shipping wheee.gif)

You can overclock the standard version yourself and should easily match/beat the superclocked card. However, as it is a family computer, it may just be simpler to get the SC version and not worry about overclocking it, and get the extra MHz out of the box. $5 is nothing, just eat ramen for a meal and make up the cost difference there haha.
