Nice build for the motherboard look at M5A97 evo or even better the M5A99x. And also never skimp on the power supply look for a gold certified. Corsair makes good power supplies.

A good 550W PSU should be enough. Check out this LINK and look at the 500-599w range. If you need more information on a particular unit, PM Shilka. Most likely he'll chime in a second. I'm partial to Seasonic brands as they are an OEM supplier for a lot of other brands including Corsair.

In theory the r9 from xfx comes with bf4 and the thermal performance is way better than the one in hd 7970s

Hi Keirann.
Unless you are planning on running 3 of your monitors for surround gaming, you would be fine with the 2GB version of the gtx 770, and should save like $40 give or take. The extra 2GB of vram will make no difference at 1080p (on a single monitor)

Also if pny is close to the same cost as the palit card you are looking at, go with pny because they have a lifetime warranty on their cards. (you have to register the card on their website, but this is easy) Future piece of mind and higher resale value.

And personally, I prefer intel over amd, but again I realize you are on a budget.

Cheers!
