Thread Starter
My friend just got his new PC and it freezes, sometimes doesn't boot up and restarts by itself. He disconnected hard drive to see if windows is making the issue, it still froze in BIOS.
Specs:
MSI 760
i5 4440
8gb dominator ram
gigabyte z87x-ud4h
Cooler Master VS750
WD 1TB HDD
Debug LED shows the letters A0

I think its the HDD do you have another one you can try, Edit if it does it in the BIOS then the motherboard is FUBAR and should be RMA´ed

My friend disconnected the HDD and booted in the BIOS and still froze without the HDD connected. I don't think it's the HDD.

Turns out it's the RAM, my friend went to the store and got it exchanged for working ones.
