Loop pressure and Pressure Equalization Membrane

Anyone use these Aquacomputer Pressure Equalization Membrane

I'm about to place a order and thought about adding this to my fill port, waste of money?

Well, that depends. The aqua computer ones are designed for a very specific job. They sell reservoirs with built in fill level sensors that are based on pressure. If the Res is sealed air tight then pressure will change as temp rises and falls, and this will cause the fill level to seem to rise and fall to the sensor. For normal, sensorless use, no real advantage

Kind of what I was thinking, my coolant temps never change more than 10C from ambient, didn't think there's a pressure buildup at all. I can see that they are required with the AQ level sensors. Thanks.
