depends on the gpu, graphics settings, other settings etc. Probably not a significant problem for OP though

KILL IT WITH FIAR!!!!!!
Seriously, find something else. Even el-cheapo $10 case with a $30-40 PSU. Diablotek makes terrible stand-alone PSU's, nevermind one that comes with the case, which is lower quality because it comes with the case.

well is the case ok? i said i would be getting a different PSU

I attempted to find you a cheaper case that didn't include a PSU, and I couldn't find squat. Interesting that's the cheapest case I could find and it even includes a PSU, albeit a ****ty PSU.
Do you intend to game at all with this PC? if you really are just planning on streaming your xbone a high end i3 might almost be enough...

Case is bleh. If it has 2 fans, it should be good enough. If its only one, NOPE!

Not really, I've been looking into this, honestly, a 4-core is the minimum I would put into it. The more cores you have, the faster everything is going to be, stream quality, stream smoothness, uses less internet. If it were me, I would spend a little more and go for an E3-1230v3 for the 4-core 8-thread action. rolleyes.gif

That makes sense. Streaming is pretty resource heavy. And the op is asking about SOME pc gaming. 3.2 isn't super quick but for most mainstream games it shouldn't be an issue at all.
I'm curious how an i5 will use less bandwidth than an i3?

It's just live video encoding

It won't, really. If you're using x264, you can tweak video settings and presets to load the CPU higher for a given resolution and FPS output (make it able to output less FPS at X resolution, better worded) so you can have like:

the equivelant of 720p30 using 2500kb/s quality, while using only 2000-2200kb/s

the amount it actually helps isn't mind blowing and it takes like 4x as much CPU to go back from regular streaming preset (veryfast) to default, optimized x264 (medium) so it's not done very much. It hardly makes sense to significantly change budget for it
