Help with HD 7950 Waterblock

Thread Starter
I bought a couple of Sapphire HD 7950s off of a friend and I need help finding water blocks for them.
This is the card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202030
I used the Cooling Configurator and it says that the blocks that fit it are all of the FC7970 CSQ blocks.
I know the Sapphire card is a reference card but I want to know if it is true that the 7970 blocks fit it or is the website wrong and the 7950 blocks fit it.
Thanks! smile.gif

The used 7970 pcbs for 7950's later on so you should be fine using any block that will fit a reference 7970.

No that block is for the 7950 pcb. Your card has 1x8pin and 6xpin power connectors correct?

From what i have read the card still needs a 7970 block. Might wanna wait for someone who has the card just to be 100%.

Well, I found a picture of the PCB and looking at it and the water block it looks like the 7970 block fits it.
The PCB:

Looks like it will fit. You could risk it, but i'm sure someone around here has put a block on that card and could tell you.
