Thread Starter
Just saw that the price has been revealed for the AMD Radeon R9 295 X2 8192M on OCUK's website, so thought id post it here:

£1099.99....yes thats right. This is the cheapest one available, there is also an MSI one at £1139 and an ASUS one at £1199, neither card offering any obvious beenfit over the cheaper Powercolour one...

Why would you get this when you can get 3 290X's for the same price or 2 290X's and a watercooling set-up?????

Quadfire with space for other important things like a sound and wireless card. If you check the 295X2 owners thread, you'll notice that some of the quad 290X owners are switching to this option even though it's considerably more expensive.

Not that bad, actually! Brits usually get screwed a lot, so it's relatively well priced considering that. I was expecting more like £1400 tbh. But I guess selling a dual GPU for the price of four individual ones would have been a bit over the top.

Well, i guess that takes it out of possibility for most reasonable gamers

290 aftermarkets (2 of them together would outperform..) @ £300, so why pay ~1.83x more to be limited by having both stuck on the same PCB?

For those that want it, it's a little cool, but not practical for most people
