You can just move the Flex Bay plates to accomodate your set up. They can be re-arranged on the fly so if you have devices you can pull the face plate and move it somewhere else (or remove it altogether). So you have 4 5.25 devices, The S8 comes with:
One 1x 5.25
One 2x 5.25
Two 3x 5.25

Just remove one of the 3x 5.25 plates and the one 1x 5.25. That's 4 5.25 slots, and allows you to use the other faceplates that can be arranged as you see fit.

That's what I needed, thank you! I though the bottom two looked more like 3 slots in size. Just want I make sure before ordering smile.gif

Thank you all! I'll be double checking my cart selections and ordering today!

Here's a pic of the top with the drop in radiator mount with 6 fans attached to give you an idea where you could hide a fan splitter. As others have said, there's plenty of space for it, and it's exactly what I plan to do as soon as my splitter comes in.

And as you can see from that pic, there is no problem using AlphaCool radiators with the copper plugs on the same side as the mount either.

Phazeshifta - will you be using a 5.25" fan controller in that case and if so, which flexbay slot would you be putting it in?

I will be, yes. The Lamptron CW611 to be precise (should be here tomorrow)

I haven't decided on the orientation yet. It will most likely be in the bottom-most slot or the top-most, if I can make it work with the radiators being placed and having enough room to fit. Either way, my build log will show what I come up with.

Wew gotta pay to play, right? smile.gif my $580 case is making me nervous. Ive hovered over the order button for 3 hours. Although this is a drop in the bucket compared to the whole build overall, just have never fathomed a case of this magnitude.

Thanks everyone for the help, will keep you updated..

I understand, it's a big decision so no pressure smile.gif The funny thing is though is that it will probably outlast everything else in the build by 2-3X wink.gif

One more question fellas... The front panel... If you get vented the front left looks to have to places to mount fans behind the ventilation? Also if you get the 120.2 front ventilated on the right side is that a one piece insert or two 120.3 separate bay covers?

Thanks!

Im right there, just trying to make sure i order the right stuff int he beginning and not have to add or change afterwards.
The vented front left does have mounts for two 120mm fans, yes. There is a temporary blanking plate attached with screws to the fan mounting holes. There is no room to fit a 240 radiator there if you have a fat 360 in the top although you might be able to get away with it if your top 360 was a thin one in pull only with an extended top.

On my S8 I ordered the Ventilated flex bay and it is covered with two triple vents, one double and one single. You can see here...
