CM Storm Spawn calculate CS sensitivity - Page 2

Thx for lots of useful sites.

Now I would like to have same (or similar) sensitivity in windows like I have in CS:GO. Is there any way to calculate from CS:GO settings whereshould I move windows slider for mouse?

I mean I had:

800 DPI + 2.3 sens + 6 in windowns

Now I have changed it to

1800 DPI + 1.02 sens + 6 in windows ....... as I increased DPI to 1800 my sens in win is just too high. Is there a way to calculate how much should I move win slider to the left to have similar sens to the ingame sens in CS:GO?

I can not use on the fly DPI changes as I have other thing on those buttons.

I hope it make sense. If not please ask.

Thank you.

CS:GO sens: 2.3

I just read http://www.overclock.net/t/1105557/cm-storm-spawn-review-and-comparisons-to-abyssus and I would like to change my mouse settings to

Win sen: 6/11
DPI: 1800
Pooling rate: 250

Could you tell me what should be ingame sensitivity for CS if I wanna have same sensitivity which i got used it please?

Thank you for help.

For info, this review is a outdated if you use a new firmware (fw61 or fw102, excluding fw201 that performs badly). For instance, my mouse can reach 3m/s with 800 dpi@500hz with fw61 where the review states 1.7m/s using an old firmware.

Also as stated here, you should know that 1800 and 3500 dpi are not real values.

1800 -> 1600
3500 -> 4000

I didn't know that FW makes such a difference. I have to use 102 or 201 as I experience that VIOP bug with other FW. 102 has high LOD so I went for 201.
I don't have tools noe knowledge perform tests in FW, but could you tell me why "fw201 that performs badly"? I read that it's basically v32 + fix VOIP .... I would stick with v32 but I need VOIP.

It's very easy to get negative acceleration with firmware v201. As you were originally using 800 dpi you should probably not use this firmware.
I found using v61 (v102 in your case) with the tape trick for a lower LOD to be the best compromise for me. Your mileage may vary.

So the v102 = v61? I couldnt find v61 and thought that it does not exist anymore.

What about DPC latency thing? I read that they fixed it in v201. Does that effect me? Thanks for helping me out.

Yeah. I read somewhere that v61 is a bit better in terms of tracking than v102 but I couldn't really tell the difference.

The DPC thing is fixed in v102. This is not the case for v61.

So you should try v102.

Still, you can get v61 here.

Thank you for the link. I updated to v102 and did http://www.overclock.net/t/1206176/attn-cmstorm-spawn-mouse-owners/50#post_16613490 which lowered LOD.

Thanks again. I will stick to 800 DPI.
