Yeah... I don't think you're going to prove or disprove smoothing with some paint spirals. Especially not with a huge brush.

The odd DPI jumps and LOD that is so low that it stops tracking on some mouse surfaces, as well as the altered perfect control speed are all caused by the lens. Why is that any better than putting tape on a mouse and having it work perfectly fine, have a normal PCS, low LOD, and maintain the usual DPI steps?

My FK works perfectly.
DPI numbers are totally unreliable to me, from my experience 400 dpi on one mouse is never the same as 400 on another even of the same model. I always have to measure and adjust my sensitivity to get the correct 360. I don't care whether Zowie claim 400 or 450 I'll be measuring it out any way.

It's a good mouse the FK but I gave up with Zowie mice atm. I simply can't cope with the low LOD on it, it's to low for me and for some reason I'm just not accurate with it.

Got myself a Kana v2 and I do like it so far. Though imo the AVIOR 7000 feels a itsy pitsy tiny bitsy more precise tongue.gif
But alas the AVOIR 7000 is a little to bulky for my hands. Though I'm looking forward to any company that releases something similar in a smaller ambidexterous shell.

It begs the question do people really need that low sens or is it just something they forced themselves to get used to. You have world class aimers like Strenx and Evil using Kinzu V1 at 2 ms and they don't hit malfunction speed while using it at 30 - 40 cm for 360.

However in this forum people who don't have 10% aiming capability of the pros hit the malfunction speed. Makes u think if there are lots of low sens noobs here who have bad aim and just slide their mouse as fast they can at low sensitivity without having much accuracy. Its something that has been crossing my mind from reading comments of people who say they cant play with a mouse that has lower than 5 ms.

Depends. Back when I played more UT instagib and SoF2, I wasn't hitting 4 m/s either, but in those games you also use your movement in combination with your aim. It's kind of like a great blend where movement and aim comes together (I still miss SoF2 CTF... it was like the child Quake and CS would have if they made love. Bunnyhopping with an AK74 xD).

In CS and more "realistic" shooters you're more forced to be stationary at the exact moment of firing, forcing you to be more reliant on just your hand. When I started playing CS is when I started hitting 4 m/s. Especially when warming up in TDM.

I actually really liked the Kana V2, the only problems I had were that 1) it was a tad bit too small for my had 2) the LOD is absolutely ridiculous (but the tape fix worked just fine) and 3) the mouse buttons kinda sucked. I never really noticed the smoothing but that's not to say that it wasn't there.

Despite the few gripes, I still think that this a very solid mouse. Maybe not my main, but a good backup if something goes wrong.

I mean, my aim is one of the primary things I've trained, even more than my tactics. You can thank my FEAR DM and COD4 TDM pub days for that...lol. My accuracy is better than Xfactor in almost every weapon on BF4. That doesn't make me a better player though, I guess I just take great pleasure in outaiming the vast populus of pub players? I guess that's what my gaming has become now lmao. 70 is about the lowest I can possibly go anyway, any more and it's just incredibly ridiculous. But flicking ultra fast and not missing is no problem with the Avior. It's glued to my hand almost. I love it. It is 100% true that professionals use like 30cm and consider that normal or even a little low. Idk, my hand isn't steady enough or something? My coarse grained muscle memory is way more powerful so I take advantage of it.

Most pro gamers doesnt even lift, so they have no muscles to memorize movement! #YOLO420SWAG

There's pro CS players that use 70cm and lower. Guy in NIP (fifflaren) uses 75cm. Just use whatever you like. I played the same at 30cm as I do at 60cm stats wise but 60cm everything feels more deliberate and solid and I love it!

This guy uses 90cm/360 in TF2

I'm sure your 70cm/360 would feel high to him biggrin.gif.

Also check out Jika on bf3/bf4. He uses 80cm for a 360 and is an amazing infantry player IMO. Plus he plays off the wrist without moving his arm LOL. People place far too much importance on the dos and don'ts of sensitivity.

Fifflaren use ~44 cm/360. Etc. Delpan use ~94 cm/360. I believe roca (american invite(?) player) use ~104 cm/360.

So he can move his mouse for 80cm by just twisting his wrist?

I have only played about 45 minutes of BF3 since I bought it, but the feeling I got was that you don't really need to do fast turns like you would in Quake etc. Have not played more because it was so slow and boring tongue.gif
