HDMI switch for multi monitor gaming on a laptop with 680m 4GB?

Can i get a hdmi switch for playing in "nvidia surround" (3 as one) screen on my lapotop? Or does that only work for amd and desktop pc's?

You can't really get a switch that is going to split an HDMI output and allow you to use multiple, the only thing you can do with that is duplicate what's coming out of it. In theory the card is more than capable of NVidia Surround, but you're limited by your I/O options.
The only way I can see you having more connected monitors is with some kind of USB3.0 dock, but then the dock becomes like an external GPU, so I very much doubt you could configure them in surround

Yeah, but i can't figure out anything that could utilitize 4gb video memory on 1 screen other than skyrim with ridiculous highres tex packs which doesnt exeed 2.8/3.2gb ram aka 3.6gb video memory (the limit before skyrim crashed on me)
