<Dead> On board Lan Port

Thread Starter
Just came back to a Orange/Red stagnant light on one of my On-board LAN. Switched over to the second LAN, and connection is up and running.

So I'll presume that i have a fried port, how should i go to disable the light of the socket? the light is on all the time.

Also, would there be a way for me to make sure that that port is indeed dead?

*PS>This is for my Sig rig<*

Anyhow, thanks guys!

Disable the LAN port in the BIOS maybe? I'd just put a sticker or a spot of blue tack over the light and be done with it.
