Ugly boards. Yuck. But I wont ever bother with ASRock again in the future. Cheap, minimum-quality boards, at least in my experience. Their boards have given me endless headaches and the customer support is near useless.

Disgusting yellow and no thanks Asrock. They stopped support for my board less than a year after release. My next board will either be a Gigabyte or Asus. redface.gif

LOL yeah....... Well judge you see despite 99% of all the motherboards in the industry looking basically the same but Asrock's cooler sort of looks like ours. Ignore the fact that we basically don't do anything special and use a reference design and throw in more phases. I guess if Asrock's BIOS will pop you in and out of UEFI to old school BIOS settings depending on what options you select like Gigabyte's trash then maybe Gigabyte would have a case. I waited 10 years to build a Gigabyte rig and when I finally did, never ever again.

I'm using two AsRock boards and they work fine.

But yeah, these boards are just ugly, those heatsinks look really cheap and horrendous.

Dunno what all the fuss is about, they look fine to me. And I've never had a problem with ASRock boards, meanwhile I've had to RMA both MSI and Gigabyte. Just luck of the draw it seems with any brand.

Why would you need an ITX x99 board? You lose out on the more RAM and PCI-E lanes advantage of the platform. If it is just for the additional cores on the CPU, then I can kinda see it but still thing a gimped x99 platform is not worth it over a fully fledged z97 one.

Definitely. A big point of -E is SLI/CF and RAM. Going too small becomes, I would dare to say, "technologically pretentious".

I call these LEGO Yellow. Just. This makes the ASUS gold scheme look so much better (not that I found them that ugly in the first place)
