Thoughts on the CM Hyper N520 cooler? After reading a review describing a water cooler leaking and frying a guys MOBO, I think fans might be the place to start. I had read that the Noctua NH-U14S was kind of huge, and yeah, kind of unsightly. Any harm in saving 40 bucks and going with the N520?

Not immediately, but I could very well end up getting a second GPU. Is there something I need to account for there?
If you want a cheap air cooler I would go with a Hyper212, 120mm fans > 92mm. Apart from that the only thing I can really complain about is the case, it looks like a plastic piece of crap and the reviews seem to back up that sentiment.

If you are not going to have two you dont need a 750 watts PSU you dont even need that for two GTX 770 cards 650 watts can still power two of those

A CPU cooler being huge can be a good thing (if it fits your case of course), I have no experience with the CM cooler but Deepcool make some cost effective coolers!

It should not be an issue with the RAM you have chosen but remember big coolers will usually cover the RAM slots, so clearance can potentially be an issue.(A bit of web surfing should reveal RAM clearance for the cooler you finally decide upon).

The Noctua's may be unsightly (my HAF 922 is not windowed so it doesnt matter to me) but they are a quality product IMO.

I cant truely tell from the link but I suspect the case you have chosen will have very little room behind the Mobo tray for neat cable management. Also if you wanted to use a 240mm radiator in a custom waterloop at any point or if you went for a H100 or H100i you could not fit it in the case without fairly heavy modding.

Alright. I'll plan on a 620W PSU and probably just the CM N520 cooler. Seems to me that cooler will do the job without getting in the way of anything else. As far as the case goes, eyecandy always wins.. rolleyes.gif

Anyways, thanks a ton, fellahs. Looks like I'm waaaay better off than originally, thanks to you guys! As always, if there's anything else, just point it out!
