Looking at possibly upgrading my gpu's.

Thread Starter
I'm looking to upgrade my Sli'd 768mb 460's,I have a limited budget right now, most I'll likely be able to spend is $180.
The options I'm looking at are

PowerColor AX7870 2GBD5-2DHV5E/OC Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 V5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card

or

XFX Core Edition R9-270A-CNFC Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card

or

Gigabyte Ultra Durable VGA GV-N660WF2-2GD (rev. 2.0) GeForce GTX 660 Graphic Card - 980 MHz Core - 2 GB GDDR5 SDRAM - PCI Express 3.0

I'm wondering if any of these would be a substantial upgrade, and if so,which would be better. I'm trying to cut the number of cables in my case so I'm leaning towards the R9 270 or the gtx 660 due to the single power connector vs the 4 I'm using now.

The R9 270 gets the best Passmark bench, so I'd go with that. Especially if you will ever think of BOINC or Bitcoin, then this GPU should be great.

Truth of the matter is Id just stick with what you have and wait it out another year or till you can afford a better solution over what you have for choices above right now.
