in need of some motivation and direction. i set Dark souls 2 aside for a bit as work got busy. I have always been bad about picking games back up after a few weeks but i don't wanna loose interest and stop my progress. I am a level 134. and have beating i believe every boss up too draiglic castle... so far i just ran to the farum armor and from what i recall up to the 2 dragon rider bosses and that was where i left it. i just returned to the black gulch and talked to the new NPC after the update.

to date i havent dabbled in multiplayer just been going thru the quest and leveling up. I do not have either of the DLCs and don't plan on upgrading until the direct x 11 version comes out.

i guess my question is is my next task to defeat the boss at draeglic castle? can't really find any other place to go or wonder around at..... i want to get a interest again perhaps try some multi player action....just never dabbled with that.

one question about the direct x11 upgrade do u keep ur progress and just continue on? or do u start over? i was about to buy the DLCs but don't see the point and want to just upgrade all at once...but not if i have to start over from scratch

side note currently playing with the black knight great sword want to try to acquire either the bluemoon great sword or the moonlight great sword either worth going after... i haven't seen benhart the jugo since i first met him as i know this is required for the bluemoon sword to complete all the fights or something...

sorry for the rambling

After the twin dragonriders there's a bonfire. If you go left there's an elevator that doesn't move, a locked door, and a ladder. Go up the ladder, and there will be a room with stone knights and a golem that, once activated, will turn the elevator on. You can't go back the way you came so if you push on you'll eventually come back to the bonfire. Up the elevator is a room with some chests. One of the chests has a key for the locked door in the elevator room. Go through the door and the Mirror Knight is at the end of the hallway. Then it's on to the Shrine of Amana.

For the DX11 upgrade, as far as I'm aware your progress from the DX9 version doesn't carry over. Did you talk to Benhart after opening the door that Rosabeth was blocking? Once you talk to him there, he'll be summonable in Brightstone Cove to help fight the Prowling Magus. Then he'll be summonable for the Mirror Knight fight. Then you'll find him sitting in front of the Giant memory after the Pursuer arena in the Forest of Fallen Giants. The last place you'll find him is in the Memory of Orro. You have to summon him three times without him dying for him to give you his armor and sword.

You can summon him for prowling magus, mirror knight, giant lord, nashandra, and elana if you have crown of the sunken king. As long as he survives three of those, he will stay in the memory of orro indefinitely as far as I know once you talk to him enough for him to move there. You can also use bonfire ascetic to reset a boss and summon him. All that matters is that he survives three boss encounters. They can all be the same boss or different bosses.

Thanks I'm just gonna get the DLCs and keep my direct x 9 with Gedosat app running looks good to me graphically perhaps the new one will be that much better but I don't have a attention span to start all over from scratch nor the time!!!

No problem. I don't blame you. I won't get the new version unless the reviews are really positive.

Ok back in the game! Beat the duel dragon riders now about to face the mirror glass knight. i know right after there are two bonfire astetics. i would like to go back and get the moonlight sword by beating the spider boss in brightstone canyon....but i have also tried to farm the heide knight armor in the forest of giants 2-3 times now... not sure if i should come back to this as i haven't gotten the armor or leggings... or go to ng+ on the spider boss and get a for sure moonlight sword when i beat him... this game really is great.... and though i have put 65 hours into it and am at level 135 i feel as if i have barely scratched the surface.... hopefully!

Benhart's sword is the Bluemoon greatsword, not the Moonlight greatsword. The Bluemoon greatsword is just a regular greatsword that only does physical damage and looks kind of like the Moonlight greatsword. Moonlight greatsword you get from beating Freja on NG+ or higher (or using bonfire ascetic) and getting the Old Paledrake soul, which you then trade to Ornifex for the Moonlight greatsword.

Just got the moonlight drake sword by using a bonfire astetic and beating Freja. Shrine of armada is fairly tough I think the Gedosat makes the shallow water hard to see I've fallen a few times because the water is super shiny and u can't see it. Next on my list is to try to farm heide knight armor im on bonfire astetic 4 on forest of fallen Giants and have obly gotten the weapons and helm frustrating seeing that it's a process. I have 2 bonfire ascetics to mess around with Gonna research more before I use them
