GeDoSaTo Alpha 5 is out! Update includes HDR Bloom and eye adaptation effect, improved SSAO, and alternate "cinematic" postprocessing settings.

On the other hand, when they whip out a dark magic buffed katana you know you're in for a fun time... rolleyes.gif

Katanas seem to have pretty broken hit boxes atm (specifically with the lunge attacks, it hits an extra metre or more past the tip of the weapon). Either that or 90% of people I fight using katanas have terrible connection to me.

I noticed that yesterday when an invader was abusing the lunge attack on his Katana hitting me with a phantom hitbox.

Well, I cross the bridge to enter this purgatory area, but there is this invader with a great sword standing in the way. Not sure how to handle him yet. i've learned not to fight him on the bridge....

Here's how I beat him on each of my characters:

Mace wielding Knight: baited his attacks and went for backstabs

Dual Caestus Deprived: Charged him with power stance

Sorcerer (turned Hexer): Nuked him into high orbit from the bridge (dark orbs) before he could even raise his weapon

^I'll try and use the bait strategy then. I'm just doing a knight /pyro build. Been doing too much rolling defense where i dont know the great sword move set. Hard lessons learned to say the least.

Oh, based on my character, i killed the 'dark' guy sitting in the chair. Did i need him??? I thought i could get his cool hood when i did so, but only got some charm i wont use. rolleyes.gif

You forgot one:

Scared Little SL1 Deprived: Run by him and enter fog during one of his lengthy combos

He's only important for sorcerers and hexers. However, if you meet an old man in a wheelchair later on, don't kill him.

Yeah! Good thing he can't follow you through the fog gate. That would make for one heck of a nasty boss fight.
