Can't go past 4.4ghz with 3770k ? Please help me.

Hello. I've been trying to obtain an overclock of 4.5ghz, but I ended up on 4.4ghz with the vCore on 1.255. I have had this overclock for weeks now and it's stable. Now, I would love to achieve the goal I sat for my self from the begging. I would love to have an overclock at 4.5ghz. I have tried a lot of differente combinations in the bios, but i just end up with the 0x124 bsod. What's weird is that I get the 124 bsod faster when I'm under 1.3v. I have a bronz certificaded PSU at 750w. I got an extension on the cpu power cable. IDK if that has anythong to say...

I've been messing around whit the vccsa voltage without any luck. I also flushed the CMOS, with no result. I have a sabertooth z77 Motherboard and a GTX 680.

Thanks for your time and help.

What temperatures are you getting under load? Also, have you de-lidded that CPU?

Firstly dont touch the VCCSA voltage, I have no idea why you decided to pick that voltage to start messing with lol.

Perhaps this might help - http://www.overclock.net/t/1392279/info-intel-3570k-3770k-overclocking-tips/0_40

My temps under full load with 4.4 ghz are below 60 (normally 45-55) degrees celsius. And nope.

OK, with ivy bridge you only need to change cpu vcore, cpu multi, and manually input your RAM settings. After that there is no need to change any other settings.

Exactly this; OCing a 3770K is the easiest of things.
