Welcome to my re-exploration into mini-ITX water-cooling! My first custom water-cooled build was "completed" not too long ago and I just wasnt satisfied with the build due to money and time constraints. With this build I really want to take my time and do the best I can with the resources and tools I have. I want to keep the scheme straightforward, no crazy mods, and very minimalistic. I will be using this computer for casual gaming,

Mercury S3

This is my first Caselabs case and I am very excited to build with it. The prodigy was a great introduction of mini-ITX cooling for me but I feel that the S3 will be a better home for my parts and design.

Components

Most of my main components will be coming from my Prodigy build. I upgraded the GTX 760 to a 770 and I would like to upgrade my motherboard to a Stinger or Rampage but I am working with a tight budget right now.

  • Intel I5 4670k
  • Gigabyte Z87N WIFI
  • Corsair Vengeance LP (2x4GB)
  • Samsun Evo 840 250GB
  • WD Blue 500GB
  • SeaSonic X Series X650
  • EVGA GTX 770 SC

Water-cooling

This part however will not be from my old build and I have bought almost entirely new components.

  • EK Supremacy CSQ Nickel CPU Waterblock
  • EK CoolStream 240 PE Series x 2
  • EK Geforce GTX 770 CSQ Clean Nickel Waterblock
  • MCP35X Pump w/ Aqualis 150ml Pump Top & Res
  • Lamptron CW611
  • Corsair SP x 4
  • Bitspower Fittings, Adapters, Accessories
  • PrimoChill Rigid Compression Fittings
Please stay tuned!

Test fitting a couple things, everything looks to be in order so far and I am getting a better visual of what kind of adapters I should buy. I would like to test fit my hardware too but its currently in use right now and I dont want to disassemble my current computer yet.

Sorry for necroing this thread but I was really excited creating this build log and I finally have this build running. It is not completely finished yet, I still need to find time to sleeve the cables and maybe install some LEDs in the case. It is outdated but due to other priorities I had to put a year and a half stall on building it and just started up again about a month ago.

^ ^ ^ In this pic above I ran into my first mistake, I ordered the wrong fitting block. I bought an L fitting instead of a T for my drain port shown in the pic below this v v v

Can't really necro your own thread since its an ongoing project. I also have a build log that I made but never got to updating..

Anyway, great update, I love it when all the piping are straight lines.
