Very low CPU usage in Skyrim

Hoping someone can clear this up for me here, first of all, here's my setup:

i5 2500k@4.5Ghz
AMD 7970 1050/1500
8GB RAM

Now the problem: Whenever i play this game, my GPU usage is always at 100%, which of course is good, it means it's being pushed to it's limits, however the CPU usage is always hovering around 20% confused.gif From my understanding Skryim is a very CPU intense game so i don't know what's going on here, i am playing with a few mods here and there as most people do but i'm really suprised at the poor cpu usage here, anyone else experienced this?

The fact that your GPU is being used 100% means that your CPU is not causing a bottleneck in which that would mean its FINE. And unless you experience a micro stutter/lag than I would be concerned and either tweak the OC. But if thats your complaint nothing to worry about.

Having a low CPU usage is a good thing. It means your cup is fast enough to feed your GPU. If you had an AMD processor for example, you would see higher CPU usage and lower GPU usage. If you want to see an increased CPU usage, just lower your resolution or graphics settings. You will find that your GPU usage goes down and CPU usage up.

Skyrim is CPU intensive but thankfully your CPU is more than adequate.
