I would not trust that PSU to run anything futher then i could throw it.
I would take the second video card out and remove all OC untill you can buy a new PSU

Thanks for your help man. So what do you recommend for a PSU? Maybe a 700W or 800W? What about xigmatek centauro? How do you rate that?

Dont bother with anything Xigmatek has.
Unless you cant find anything else look elsewhere

Last you dont need more then 750 watts max unless your are going to overvolt your 280x cards

Nope no plans of overvolting the cards. Ill try to find a 750W or 800W PSU.

Thanks for your help.

OK a little update that i have, First of all previously my 7970 was the primary card with the 280X being the secondary. I wasnt able to OC.

Now I was cleaning my PC and thought to put the 280x as the primary card and 7970 as secondary. Guess what I am able to OC the processor without any issues :S? Any clues? Maybe a configuration issue as well?

I do not doubt it. Crossfire can be very quirky, as can Sli. Still put the PSU on your replace ASAP list. The output of your psu is going to get worse with time and heavy use and youve already been "riding it hard" with previous setups. Sounds like a nice rig.
