Hello thank you for your response my ambient room temp is probably between 60 - 65F.
The fans are all plugged into into the themal control on the pump head.
i dont have a meat thermometer... don't know how but we don't have one.

I believe the general consensus is anything under 80C is relatively safe.

Okay i will report back in if i have any more problems, or if i continue to have more problems should i just go back to air cooling and forget about this thing?
If so whats a good air cooler to recommend or another good all in one unit .

Noctua NH-D14 is a solid performer for air cooling. Although if the H100i push/pull is working correctly with high pressure/RPM fans @ high speed, it should technically work better than the Noctua.

Just to say, while theres nothing wrong with the NHd-14 at all it is only one of quite a few top air coolers and the brown colour scheme is.... Divisive of opinion tongue.gif if you care about looks of course.

Best off putting a new thread in the Air cooling section if you decide to go that way, people there will help you out.

If you are going to use a tower air cooler its very useful to know what your case and other hardware is as some have issues with RAM clearance and side panel clearance depending on your case dimensions.

Oh and fill out your rigbuilder at the top right above your profile info, it really helps to know exactly what hardware you have when people are trying to advise then people dont have to ask you and you dont have to type it out every time.

Anyway hope your issue is sorted, best of luck.

I actually just got done installing my h100i cooler on a 2500k CPU. I am running it as a top mount exhaust push/pull setup in a CM Storm Trooper case. I bought 2 additional Corsair SP120 PWM fans for the push/pull setup. With that said, I think you may have a problem with your installation or a defect in your cooler. I overclocked my CPU to 4.3Ghz once I installed the cooler and have been monitoring temps over the last couple of days at full load. I can't get the temps to go over 50C. At load it usually hovers at around 48C-49C. At idle it sits at 23C. I'll download and run Aida64 and see how high my temps go this weekend. I'll keep you guys posted.

TLDR: I have a very similar setup and am getting great temps, seems like an installation issue or defect.

***UPDATE***
I ran some stress tests using Aida64. I ran at 100% for 30 mins. I used RealTemp for the temp readings and the highest I ran was 69C on one core, a bit lower on all the others. In my previous tests I was just using the ASUS utility to read the temperature, which explains the difference between these numbers and my original numbers posted above. With that said, I still think he has a faulty cooler or something isnt installed correctly.
