Giant Radiator? - Page 4

Ok so I ran AIDA on GPU and FPU and both GPU's for 30 minutes (well I took pictures at 29m and some seconds, tecnically I guess) , and my water temp was 27.9. My ambient temp was 24.3 prior to starting. I'm very impressed. I think I might put my chiller in the loop after all and see if I can keep it below ambient with this much loop capacity.

Normally I block of my rads with my chiller and try to keep the water about 10C or so. It depends on the temps.

Maybe that's a test for another night. Beer + tired kids = tired parents.

This stuff is fun.

What test string are you running to keep your GPU's and CPU maxed out for combo furmark and p95 that you mentioned? I'm curious with time to kill!

You need to run p95 with 1-2 less cores for dual testing.

If I'm getting the phobya 1260 combined with a gtx 420 and two SR1 420 rads will I still need a strong pump or will a single mcp35 work? Also whats the difference in power between an mcp35 and an mcp35x2 as buying two of those single units seems to be cheaper than buying a single 35x2

the 35x2 has a bit more performance as the single top is better than 2 separate tops.

I'm running a MO-RA 360LT, just put 9 Gentle Typhoon fans on it and it's amazingly quiet. BTW I have a Koolance RP-452x2 res that has 2 d5 pumps.

MCP35X comes with a DDC-PWM, a swiftech pump top, and a decoupling pad. The MCP35x2 comes with two DDC-PWM pumps, a dual impeller pump top, a PWM splitter pre-installed, and the same decouping pads. With the MCP35x you also have to pay for 4 fittings when you plumb your loop. With the MCP35x2 you only need to pay for 2, so that right there is the difference between $16 or $32 which immediately can make both x2 MCP35x and 1x MCP35x2 the same price.

You get what you pay for.

It has exactly twice as much performance as the mcp35x.

I see, so will I be able to have decent water flow with just one 35x?

List of everything in the loop please.

Also, does anyone know if the SR rads have the same narrow chambers as the GTX and GTS rads? I forget. biggrin.gif
