If you're using a SSD as your ONLY disk, then this isn't going to do anything worse than you're already doing to it.

I'd just like to confirm that, with my method of x264 v2 + JMESS, you do not need to use a GPU stress test if your CPU does not have an integrated GPU. I did this on an Athlon 64 x2 just recently and it was finding instability just as quick as it would on my Pentium G3258.



(ironically though the mobo bit the dust during stessing redface.gif)

If it does not finish an encode, does this mean there was a problem?

For example if moves onto the next one when the first one says 64%

Does that mean there is a problem and it did not encode properly?

No crashing etc. just it moved onto the next one without getting to 100% on the previous one.
