Moving to Intel this summer, $160 i5-4430 worth it?

I've been planning on switching to a Intel build this summer to keep my rig updated, and I got an offer for a i5-4430 for $160$152, brand new. I haven't been keeping up - Is this a worthwhile buy, or should I wait or buy something esle? headscratch.gif

What you should do is go onto Staples.com's online chat and get them to price match Frys's i5-4430 for $99.

Link to Frys listing: http://www.frys.com/product/7680527?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

You might have to go through a few customer service agents before you can get it price matched, but Staples WILL eventually price match it for you. That way you can easily save $60 to put towards something else in your build.

Here is the Staples listing if you need it too: http://www.staples.com/Intel-Core-BX80646-Quad-Core-Cache-i5-4430-29-GHz-Processor/product_IM1QX8544

Many people have successfully done this and scored big :P!

Yes, although I'm really just after what gets me the most power for the money.

I'll look into that. Is a 4670 really worth another $80?

I've been trying wink.gif. However I'm on my 10th try and it looks like I'm out of luck since Fry's is sold out nationwide and online :/
