One question. What are those plastic spacers called that are organising the sleeved cables, and where might one find them?

Cheers in advance!

Hi veazer,

Thanks for the kind words smile.gif

Those plastic things are called "cable comb" and there are basically 2 types:

One like mine, with those "U" shaped indentations. You basically push the wire in until it "clicks" and then you move the cable comb back or forward until you find the correct spot where the cables stay in a position that you like.

The second type is "O" shaped and you have to put the sleeved wire in before you connect the pin to the connectors.

I prefer the first type because is more practical in my opinion.

Lutro0 and E22 make them. I personally ordered mine from E22. smile.gif

Sorry for my not-very-good english smile.gif

Hey everyone, I'm typing from my smartphone so sorry for the short update.

I received two new items yesterday and today:

1x Aquacomputer Kryoconnect so I can connect my two TITANS without using barbs or fittings

1x Bitspower X-Station that I am going to use to power my 2x D5 Vario, my Aquaero and my SSD and HDD.

I have a couple of pictures taken with my dslr but I do not have another pc atm so I am not able to share them.

I am going to post them on Tuesday when I'll be at work.

I am still waiting for a couple of other things to arrive so in the meantime I worked on fan cables on my radiators, here's a sneak preview:

Best regards,

Marco

Thanks REAPER XD!

So, as promised, I snapped a couple more pictures (quality and editing isn't at the top since I'm at work and I do not have much time to edit pictures and stuff like that).

Since I am a big fan of B/W pictures, here's a B/W update smile.gif

This is the drain port. I still don't know if I am going to leave it that way (with a 90 degree Bitspower adapter or if I am going to ditch the 90 degree adapter and simply attach the Bitspower tap fitting)

This is the Bitspower X-Station. Maybe I am a noob but I just discovered the existence of this item and man it is useful. Basically with just two 4pin molex input you can have enough power to power up things like pumps, HDDs, fans, fan controllers, leds, etc. etc. It really saves you a lot of time in cable management and wiring.

X-Station + some other Bitspower fittings that I've ordered a couple days ago

These are my custom made 5.25" bay covers and the Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 XT all mounted together smile.gif

Bonus pic:

Some Aquaero bokeh biggrin.gif

'till next update

Best regards,

Marco

The photos a a little too muffled in the background for me to fully enjoy the actual parts though, try decreasing the f-stop (larger number) to get a little more in focus. Will make what looks good look that little bit better, but really is looking like its going to be a high quality build! Great work smile.gif

Hello everyone smile.gif

I'm here with some new updates on this build.

It is almost finished, I finally wired everything up and I only need to fill the system for leak testing etc.

Unfortunately I didn't have my DSLR with me so I had to use my iPhone (sorry for the poor quality).

temporary "flow" for gpu and 24pin wires

the back of the case, all wired up (aquaero, x-station, pumps, ssd, hdd etc. etc.)

little close up of the 4pin eps smile.gif

Then I started the first "final" assembly to see how it looks

As you can see I also installed the aquacomputer kryoconnect to connect both my gpus.

The case is freaking huge and heavy but I like it so far.

As soon as I have my DSLR back I'll post some new pictures smile.gif

let me know what you guys think biggrin.gif

Hello Everyone........

Today is a sad day for me.....

I don't even know where to start......

1) yesterday I completed the leak test with all the loop and hardware inside of the case. No leaks. So I decided to turn on the computer and I started to check temperatures and stuff like that. I was getting great temps. 28C idle on the CPU (36C under Prime95 stock settings) and 21C idle on both my Titans (39C under Metro Redux stock settings). 20C ambient temperature. Completely silent machine (no vibrations or stuff like that), so I decided to let the pc on the entire night (I was downloading AC:Unity and FarCry 4 from Uplay). During the night it started raining and long story short a lightning hit my home. The pc went off but I tought it was becasue of a power loss. I tried to turn it back on and no luck. Then I noticed that no LEDs were on on my motherboard. And also a burning smell from my Silverstone PSU. I swapped it out with my old Corsair AX850 and the pc went on. Unfortunately no sata ports are working on my MIVE-Z. LAN port is not working. Also the motherboard only read 8GB out of the 16GB installed (don't know if half my ram is dead or half of the memory slots are dead). Also both my Titans are dead. If I put my hdmi cable on the first card I get "no signal" from my monitor and if I plug it in the second card I get lots and lots of artifacts on screen both in bios and in Windows. Also my SSD is gone.

- As if all of the above was not enough, the same night a bunch of thieves broke in our garage and stole my mom and dad bikes and also both of my case left (windowed) and right covers that I decided to leave in the garage since I wanted the case open to have more room to work with.

............... I still can't believe it...... I just have right now sitting on my desk over 2k Euros worth of dead gpus and an incomplete custom case which costed me a huge (and believe me I mean HUGE) amount of money that I can't close because I don't have the doors........
