I'm posting this to see if I can get any help with a problem I'm having with ASUS customer support.
My Maximus VII Impact developed problems about 2 months ago so I contacted ASUS and they told me they could do an Advanced RMA for me. So I went through with the Advanced RMA and they charged my card for the value of the motherboard, a hold amount which they said would be returned to me once I sent my faulty motherboard back to them.
Well it's been nearly a month since I've returned my motherboard back and they won't return the hold amount that they charged to my card. I've tried email support, chat support, phone support, spoken to supervisors and have gotten nowhere.
First I tried email support after 2 weeks passed since my motherboard was delivered to the ASUS service facility and got a reply from css_jayvee who told me that if there were any issues the service facility people would send me an email and that if did not receive an email then my money should be released and to contact my bank. I contacted my bank and they told me that Asus have not released the hold. I waited a few days and emailed css_jayvee again two times but he just ignores me and won't reply.
So I tried chat support and got Nichol who told me that I should wait 14-20 days, when I told him that it had already been 23 days he told me he'll look into it and to expect an email in 24-48 hours. So I waited 2 days and I got nothing.
I then tried phone support and got a guy called Michael who told me that he had contacted the service facility and that the hold amount would be released in 24 hours. So I waited 24 hours and contacted my bank, nothing.
So I called again and spoke to a woman who told me that she has escalated my case and to expect an email in 24-48 hours. So I waited 2 days and I got nothing.
I tried phone support again and spoke to a supervisor Ricardo who told me that he would personally make sure to contact the service facility and then update me on Monday which was yesterday and nope, nothing. No replies no information, nothing at all.
Do I have to just keep nagging them or something? This is super frustrating.
