It does have excellent cooling and acoustics though. But make sure you have good airflow in your case if you're crossfiring air cooled cards.

Oh dont worry i have no intention of overclocking or attempting to overclock the gpu's, i should have sufficient fps wit the pair of them without having the need to overclock and then have to deal with the higher temperatures etc, if i dont need to do it then why go through all the trouble and risk and have more expenses smile.gif

Yeah I get what you mean I guess it would be more efficient to get the 290 instead.

I went from a 7850 to the 290, omg the difference in performance is night and day.

How much did you pay for yours? I got mine on newegg for $450 US with the AMD Gold 3 games coupon.
Also what PSU are you using?
You can check my rig in my sig.

I like when I meet someone with similar setup because we can relate haha.

Hey there ace, im curious have you had any problems with sagging with the vapor, ive seen a couple posts and comments of people having issues with it due to its size and weight.

@prochaos Brotha there aint no sag. I've just put one in my system last night. Not sagging even under the weight of the pci cables.
It's freaking big and heavy, but it aint got no sag.

Oh thanx thats nice to hear, have to see over time. i have been advised to get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835888602 to help with airflow and remove that hot air being released from the top gpu that will be giving off the most heat.

No, there doesn't seem to be any sagging as of now, but I will have to see over time. This card feels so premium because of the weight and metal construction.
Your build look so beast, I'm jealous thumb.gif
Here's some pictures, ignore my valueram tongue.gif

Thanks buddy, the vapor-x sure looks fine in your case, wondering how it would look in a black and red case with the blue cover.

The right psu is Seasonic 80 Plus Platinum where as the left psu is 80 Plus Gold so the right one is better smile.gif
post #28 of 29
Haha it was a trick question because they're both seasonic.

I swapped the X750 Gold for the SS760 Platinum when newegg had it on sale for $99 biggrin.gif
Btw did you have to turn your neck to read the Platinum part? lol I did that on purpose.
