I do not have any experience with one, its two Sandforce controllers restricted by a PCIe 2.0 x2 connection. I don't think it would be worth it for one. They are overpriced imo.

Hey Sean and parsec great and educational. I have few question
Why are result so different ,especially with COPY,ISO,GAME part of AS-SSD benchmark?
Definitely msahci always give lower 4k.What is driver that parsec use?
Installing Intel RST don't have anything with pci-e, am I right?
Did you buy this drive or you just get it for review?
And why you didn't send it to me to test it on my X58 with overclock pci-e line wink.gif ?

I am not sure, different systems, different chipset driver and/or different Windows AHCI driver maybe. Possibly RAM speeds/timings too.

The stanard Windows 8 AHCI driver. It is now called storahci now rather than msahci in Windows 8.

Correct, only the standard Windows and other supported OS AHCI drivers will work with this drive. I want to see if they release any NVMe driver compatibility...basically less than half the latency potential and more high queue depth speed potential.

I got to so I could compare and review. Didn't buy it.

You live too far away lol. I overclocked mine slightly, it didnt make any difference from testing...i set mine form 100-107 lol. Not much but still some.
