When you got your mouse was there an little arrow tag thing sticking out of the battery compartment?

And did you yank the tag out or take the battery compartment off first and then remove the tag?

On my first one there was, if I remember correctly, I opened it up and took it out

On my second RMA replacement unit it was not there

Why'd you have to RMA it?

Finicky right mouse button and the scroll wheel was working only like 15% of the time for click down on it. That and side buttons had a bit of a repeating problem. I assume it was a bad egg in the batch.

I believe the tag is just there to prevent battery contact w/ mouse circuitry, so it would not consume minor electricity when in shipping or being displayed for sale.

Most of the time tags like these are just a small strip of plastic, so I think it's okay to just pull it out.

How is the lid on your guys battery compartment? I wish Logi would have put a little foam there to anchor it in place better, i dont like the clicky sound it makes when i touch it.

But it's under the mouse... Are you lifting your mouse up to touch the battery compartment a lot? I wouldn't think this would be an issue for, well, anyone.

Not at all, but would be nice to have some foam or rubber on there.

Both of my G602s are fine with their lids, there's internal rattling on both if you shake them in the air but it isn't from the battery compartment lid, I only get that sound from tapping a finger on it which is once every 4 months or so to change out my batteries thumb.gif
