Title pretty much says it all...

Would you say $280 AU for a used I5 3570k and Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H is a good deal? Still under warranty.

Or... Wait for Devil's Canyon/Skylake and upgrade to either of those platforms?

What's your opinions guys?

Cheers.

PS: Also, if anyone has either or both of the above components. How would you rate them?

Depends on your budget. What is your budget? How much are you willing to spend? What do you intend to do with your rig?

Well... My I5 2400 will be a bottleneck to 2 x 280x's (I plan to get another in the future) I think. Plus there's the whole 16x4x Mobo issue.

I don't really have a budget as such. I just thought $280 was a good deal for the 3570k and GA-Z77X-UD3H.

But I'm wondering if other people think the same... Would you consider $280 a good deal? And...
Whether or not the difference between a 3570k vs 2400 and 16x/8x PCIE 3 vs 16x/4x PCIE 2 Mobo is worth it?

Or just wait for DC/Skylake.

I guess no one has an opinion on this then? I really would appreciate some input...
