xspc x20 750 V4 Pump upgrade?

So i got my replacement Res/Pump (my original one was faulty) today thanks to XPSC and Overclockers.co.uk for excellent customer support !

Now my question is would it be possible to replace the pump in this res with a d5 pump?
I pulled the old res apart to see what was inside and the pump seems fairly easy to replace, the only issue i can see would be weather the hold match up with those on the res?

Anyone have any experience/knowledge about this?

Thanks

No, if you want to use a D5 with an XSPC bay res then you need to buy one that has the D5 mounting bracket. You're stuck using the 750 pump with that res

meaning i remove the pump from the xspc res, and mount a d5 externally?

No, meaning, there is an XSPC bay res that has a spot to mount the pump directly to the res. You cannot mount a D5 to the 750 res. It's a completely different res. The res you have has to be used with the 750 pump
