Also if you aren't opposed to second hand you should totally pick up an r9 290 on ebay. You can get a non reference one for like 320 on there. Same price as your 770 and way better.

That monitor is $180 and 23", dont want to sound snarky just wondering if you linked the correct monitor.

It is 23 and its $150 for me. You didn't state a size preference. I was asking. If you NEED a 27 inch you'll likely have to stick with that, but you will probably hate it. I'm willing to bed the viewing angles are awful and the colors are worse.

If the OP has never used an IPS then he may not notice the difference. I prefer IPS but that is because I have been spoiled by it. My suggestion is to go into a store if you can and see a good demo of one. If you stick with a TN, I'd recommend at least going 120hz.

Yeah I dont NEED a 27" monitor, I was just recommended one for gaming. I haven't dealt with higher end monitors before, are the viewing angles and colors going to be that noticeable to me?
