So this is our first Tech-Day for our channel, and this will be our first build

I see a lot of peoples logs on here, this will be 1 of many builds for us, our next one will be wayyy more elaborate lol

NOTE: I am NOT a PC expert on parts and such, I have built one computer for myself in the past but nothing to this extent

So here are all the parts

Phantom Tower

Maximus VII Hero

Intel I7-4770k

Cooler Master V8 GTS

GTX780Ti

840 EVO 500gb, WD Black 4TB

32GB 2133mhz Vengeance Ram

HX750 Power Supply

Some Extra Fans

We will also be customizing the case with this as a stencil

It's a very nice setup you've got there!
I'm also getting almost the exact same configuration with the difference of getting Fractal Design's R4; a tad less RAM, SSD and HDD (which is a Caviar Blue); a Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme or Noctua NH-D-15 for cooling and a little bit bigger PSU (850 watts) to have room for future expansion. Funny how you've decided to go with the Asus mobo but not the Asus VGA, I did the same for multiple reasons smile.gif

I watched a couple online reviews and thought it was a nice board, our next one will definitely be water cooled, it took us like 7 hours to put this build together today, but it booted up 1st try no issues at all, runs like a dream, I will post some pics tomorrow once we do cable clean up with some zip strips, then we will run some test, and I have never overclocked a comp before so I am anxious to try it out

the heat sink was a complete ***** to get on because of the motherboard design, but definitely worth it, we will be replacing all the fans on the case because they are kind of weak compared to the ones we got

When you have built your rig, could you please post some pics with the max temps your CPU has under load with the CM V8GTS cooler?

This is the video we did, we obviously played off most of it, seems like every build is way too serious, so we just had fun with it instead
