For me the big websites and reviews don't hold much water. First, they can be paid to rate (no one wants to think this but they CAN be) ,two, they don't give much info about how the game runs (read the IGN review of BF4 and decided to buy it? Buy for a surprise lol-probably won't run) and three, they always rate the game independently. Not as compared to others in the genre or even their predecessors. Just think like this :if Amnesia:The Dark Descent had limited oil, screen distorsion when you look at a monster and a sanity meter and got 8.x/10, how can Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs which lacks all the three mentioned features and features the same gameplay (only differences being graphics and story), get 8.x as well?

IMO the most reliable reviews are from the players who play it. So if I wanted to know if this will be good as a stealth game (just for example), I'll check out a stealth playthrough expert's channel on youtube, look for reviews on Steam or if I know anyone who is an enthusiast in Stealth games, I'll ask him/her.

Price. $60? That's around Rs.3600 in India. Our price on Amazon, FK, SD, G4U, etc is price Rs.1799. Lol thats the only advantage of being a gamer in India-cheap games. I got the first 5 Splinter Cell games for Rs.425 and am now patiently waiting to pick up my Borderlands 2:GOTY for Rs.500.
