Roccat Kone Pure Military - Page 118

Good to see someone else from Greece on here. Can't tell you about the glide but the kpm is a lot smaller than the da. DA is a bit big for me and the kpm is a bit small (palm grip). EC2-a is just right. Hope it fits you.

Picked one of these up and I have to say, it's really comfortable for me. I was previously using a g400s and although I really liked that mouse it was too big for me (I have 17cm hands), but the KPM is a similar shape so I can grip it in the same way (sort of a fingertip/claw grip). The sensor doesn't seem to feel as responsive as the one in the g400s though, but it's perfectly usable and I'm not sure that the 3310 is actually worse than the 3095 or it's just a placebo as I'm used to that sensor.

3310 has more smoothing. Logitech G400 800 CPI is considered very raw.

That's interesting to know. Is there a comparison of smoothing in sensors I can find anywhere? I've played with a few 3310 mice, and most do seem to be more smoothed, but the ec1a seemed ok (although not as good). That's why I wasn't sure if the sensor feel was just related to the size of the mouse making it feel different or there actually was a significant difference (although I guess implementation might make a difference?). In any case, the KPM is still probably better for me to use just for ergonomics.

feels more responsive than the EC2-A if you ask me

did some A/B comparisons before selling the zowie

both were set to 800dpi 500hz ( latest firmawre + normal DCU for roccat )

G400S cursor response is said to be full of smoothing. G400 non-S on the other hand feels really "raw" indeed

there is a new FW live on the roccat website thats supposed to fix the dpi switch issue (basically just updates the srom).
I wanna try this since my rival is too big for me to claw. I'm afraid has the DPI bug been fixed can anyone else confirm that new firmware fixes it?
Thanks!
it does ^ no need to recalibrate the dcu anymore everytime I compare different mousepads tongue.gif

Is there a mouse like the KPM but for a bigger hand? I absolutely love how this mouse moves and feels but it's just a bit too small. Whenever I use my hands end up cramping a little...
Kone XTD Optical. Employs a 3988 rather than the 3310 in the KPM.
