can anyone comfirm the new firmware don't screw the sensor performance at all?i just got evga x5 and i love it but my prefered mouse is still RKM wink.gif

To me personally it seems even snappier than before, probably it's because I can finally disable the DCU calibration without encountering bugs.

hello guys,

i got my roccat kone pure black edition (optical 3310 Sensor) today. I like the mouse, but the left and the right button feel different. Is this normal? The right one seems harder to press than the left one.

don't think so. my zowie ec2-a's buttons are like that. the right button is a bit harder to press than the left smile.gif. although, somebody with the mouse will probably give you the right answer soon.

mine too feel a tiny bit different, but with time it is going to become a little softer.on my first RKM the right click became somewhat softer then left after nearly 1 year.

the famous dpi bug what is? What does it consist of? Who is affected?

The bug was that using the 3310 kones, if you had the DCU turned off, then the first time you lifted up the mouse after changing DPI, the DPI would change once more (I think always to a ~10-20% higher value). It didn't continue changing after that.

So it was only a problem in terms of the DPI changing at "random" if distance calibration was off and you switched DPI on the fly. A more minor issue is that even if you didn't switch DPI on the fly, you'd end up with a bit higher DPI than you asked for.

It worked properly with the DCU enabled, and also as mentioned earlier this is supposed to be fixed with the latest firmware update, but I haven't tried it personally.

It is fixed ^

must be the most responsive 3310 mouse out there btw, ( never tried FM but it just feels more accurate/snappy than zowie 3310 that's for sure ) mine is perfectly built no rattling lens no m1/m2 pressure difference it feels like rodent euphoria lol.

too bad i went back to xornet II, can't beat the ergonomics <3

I just bought a KPM and the new Zowie EC2-A and i totally agree about the sensor. The 3310 in the KPM feels better but i like the shape of the EC2-A better. Both are great mice and i think i will keep both of them. Also having a little hard time to get used to the Huanos smile.gif
