Roccat Kone Pure Military - Page 151

Do kone pure and kpm share same mouse feet? Any recommendations for kpm mouse feet, I found hotline games on ebay /AliExpress. Or others to share.

Any finally my KPM has started double clicking. Its around six or seven months old I think. At this point I don't even complain any more, stopped believing mice exist without this problem, even for short term usage like this, but just stating for the sake of it. Still love the coating, the feeling and the lightweight anyway.

Kinda funny, I never had a mouse that doubleclicks, not even my old IE3.0 did that, and I still got that mouse, no problems.
If all your mice get double click I figure it must be something weird you do to the mice smile.gif

Only mouse I've ever had double click on me was my Razer Mamba but that was after 4-ish years of use, 12 hours a day, everyday. tongue.gif

I purchased the Skatez Corepad ones because i needed to replace the mousefeet on my Kone Pure Military. They're the same of the Kone Pure, exact size and form!
They're only white instead of black, but who cares?

You can change the microswitches and solve the problem easily IMHO, you just need to do 2 minutes of soldering.
The KPM uses the Omron D2FC-F-7N for button 1 & 2, and you can buy them for less than 3-4$/€ (http://www.ebay.com/bhp/omron-d2fc-f-7n).

Lift the mousefeet, remove the screws (they're 4, 2 on top and 2 on bottom) then remove all the other screws inside which keep in place the main PCB. Desolder the two switches on top (mouse button 1 and 2) then solder the new ones. Close the mouse, put up the mousefeet again and you're good to go!

Yeah thanks mate. I don't know anything about soldering. So I am gonna use that software trick for now.

I think this has to do with the extremities we face in the subcontinental weather. Most of you won't even realise it. Massive temperature and humidity changes are the worst for mice, and that's the reason I think, or at least when you people say no double click issues on yours end, that's what I can deduce anyway.

Yeah I never hear of double clicking problems in Australia. Definitely climate related.

Reminds me of this: http://www.kickassgear.com/Reviews/Cougar%20700M%20static1.htm

There's kinda~, sorta~, A LOT of variables.

Those who use the X-Mouse button app, what is the minimum value I can use to avoid the double clicking issue?

IDK but i have beat you in clicking amount and still no issues with my mouse which is almost 2 years old now smile.gif
