pretty much a toss up for me between this and the FK1. i'm at the point where i'd like to just find a solid mouse and stock up on a few of them. With the minor FK/FK1 issues that keep cropping up I'm getting a bit turned off even though I love the original FK i'm still using. Always loved my savu - almost regret changing but this seems like the next logical step.

What FK1 issues have been cropping up, exactly? We've seen one review of it. It isn't even available to North America yet.

People are saying the lens rattles when the mouse is moved around fast or picked up. The older models have had ongoing issues with the coating.

The FK '14 has a problem with the coating. People that own both are saying that the FK1 has a different feeling coating all together.

As for the lens rattling if you shake your mouse around...

The lens rattle is a non-issue, it does not affect performance and I only ever hear it when holding the mouse in the air and shaking it. If that's the only thing keeping you from buying it... then don't hold back biggrin.gif

When you move a mouse you have already subconciously taken into account the fact that negative acceleration will kick in at 1.5m/s and moved the mouse slightly further to accommodate. Until you have spent a significant amount of time (as in months or years) playing with a different sensor you cannot possibly hope to comment on its accuracy.

Nobody is saying that you should stop using the MLT04 - after all those years playing with it you would waste a long time learning to play with another sensor - but for people who are coming to the market fresh there are plenty of other sensors that are objectively better. This is coming from a long term user of the MLT04 who played at a high level at numerous LAN tournaments. I know what I'm talking about just as much as you do.
False. We've been over all of that in multiple threads. Every point you made is wrong.

I've read those "multiple threads". You go on the same rant every time and numerous people tell you that you are wrong. You only use one mouse and don't have the experience of others that is required to give proper unbiased advice.

Then you have not seen those threads or have some kind of cognitive dissonance, because that is a flat out lie; as was your previous post.
