THE YETI (Name is a current WIP)

INTRO

First. Every part of this build will be have EXTENSIVE photos and /or Video done on it. I have a Very nice camera and an even better Camcorder so expect a flood. I will also be ordering professional lighting and backdrops ASAP!

So, I guess I should start this off by telling you what I'm doing. My plan is to build a rig, that is more out of want than need, considering the system I already have. I have a bad habit of NEVER being satisfied with things in technology. I'm always looking for the next upgrade, the next best thing, the fastest and best. Having said that, I do live within reason. I can't drop $10k on a rig every 6 months... My wife would kill me :-D. This build is going to be something extremely over the top and out there and something you don't much see on OCN. Having said that, this rig will be used for benchmarking, stressing, and put to work rendering and working when needed!

I don't have any sponsors, so this will all be out of my pockets and may take just a bit of time... but I'm to impatient for it to take forever!

My last build started out humble enough and morphed into some kind of crazy ever-changing money-pit! I don't want that happening this time. I want to do it right, and make it work the first time!

I will be asking you guys on opinions and recommendations on everything from changing the name to the GPUs and cooling!

Okay everyone! I need some feedback here.

This is what I'm gonna purchase today.

I was going to go with the Monsta 480, but I think I'm gonna stick with as much EK as I can, because I like uniformity....

Also, I need some opinions on the GPU front. I have 2 gtx 780 Ti's currently with EK CSQ blocks (will change them if moved) or 3 R9 290s that I can either keep... or sell and buy something else. Thoughts?

Okay guys so i have now spent A LOT of money today lol. For the final purchase i present to you....

Apparently they are closing out all LD COOLING stuff over at FrozenCPU. Make sure if you go you use the OCN code for 5% off.

I also ordered the XL window for the case. its nice to save about 400$

Things just got real
