But think how well they worked. The corsair one will probably be the best one out there. But custom cooling is far more superior

agreed it is the first to offer additional pcb cooling with the heat plate design to help absorb heat vs the g10's fan only pcb cooling BUT both nzxt and corsair brackets do not add anything new that can not and has not been done already.

Nzxt follows the traditional zip tie/dwood with a fan added while corsair uses an example of The Mod where the stock heatplate with stock fans are still attached. Corsair does have the added feature of not requiring pump on die attachment but pump on bracket mount instead which limits damage to the die. This can be done with the original The Mod but was card specific/not all cards could use the method.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it is coming soon.

Dustin made a video here on how the installation process works out: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/october/hg10_installation_video

What do you guys think?

Well, we are almost there and they are almost here! The Hydro Series HG10 GPU coolers should be available out in the wild before the end of October. Here, Dustin Sklavos shows you step by step, how to install the unit and hands out compatibility info as well.

I didn't expect it to because I knew that the blower-type cooler is NOT going to reduce VRM temps down to where they should be when you use an AIO cooler + bracket on the GPU.

HG10 = dead promise. Time to move on!

Ouch. There are reasons why the release date has taken a while but it isn't because of what you're assuming. Let us show you what it can do! Then you can bash it after. biggrin.gif

I know right? Hey James, should I be expecting my shill money at the end of the month as usual?

Edit: I know what you meant but that wording comes off like me sponsoring Corsair instead. Sorry Corsair, just a poor grad student here- I can't afford such a high maintenance entity biggrin.gif
