***You do get extra o-rings as its very easy to chew up the o-rings, especially the dual and single 90s. I used Bitspower 12mm tube and a sander with 500 wet to chamfer the edges as best as possible. Work it good and test as you go; don't rush or you'll just end up killing o-rings easily. A dab of silicone grease helps a lot. I'm happy to report no leaks at all (knock on wood).***

I lost count of how many of each fittings but I did end up spending over $600. Word of advise about aliexpress, careful w/ the seller, choose wisely, try to get dhl shipping, contact the seller(s) for bulk or shipping discounts, and lastly, if its too good to be true (or not around the same as other sellers) skip it! I got held up for a month dealing with a dead-beat seller but I was able to get my money back.

Nice I see you're using a lot of Barrow fittings for hardline tubing. But did you have to use Bartrow hardline tubing as well? Or what brand are those hardline tubing?
Do you remember which seller on AliExpress did you order those Barrow fittings from? and how long did it take for DHL to ship it to you? thx

Also, those Barrow 90 dual link compression fittings that you got from AliExpress, do they call Multi Link or something? Cause I know Bitspower ones have 2 different types, one is a Push-In fittings and other is Enhance fittings for hardline.

Its Bitspower 12mm od tube. For hardline fittings, just match it with tube of the same outer diameter. I know Barrow also offers 14mm and 16mm and you can use any hard tube or copper/stainless-steel/nickel tube, as long as its the same od. Lastly, don't mix imperial with metric as it can leak even if its a minute difference in sizes. I would stick with metric as you have a lot of options but Imperial is not bad, especially since Monsoon has really stepped it up and along with Primochill, you still have a healthy selection.

Typically, there's two types of fittings: friction (ie Bitspower C47) and compression (ie Primochill Ghost). These Barrows combine both: so you have dual friction o-rings inside and you place a 3rd o-ring between the locking ring and the top of the fitting for a compression seal. Its the inner o-rings that you have to be careful with as these can easily be damaged with sharp tube ends. The straight, single 90, and dual 90s are all designed like this.

Due to ocn frowning on linking outside sellers, I'll send you a pm with the sellers I dealt with on aliexpress. If you are planning a large loop, go w/ aliexpress. if you are going with a smaller loop, ebay might be the better choice for you for Barrow.

they are not from China, they are UK stock. Ordered from Mizu Cooling on ebay.co.uk, 2-3 days delivery time. Added lots of fittings to basket and paid for delivery only once(otherwise there's like £1 delivery for each item). Great fittings, good quality imo and reasonable price. All white looks delicious:)

What you mean not China? I thought AlieExpress is mainly for China and Asia? How is it from UK?

Guys, just ordered some barrow fittings and petg tubes from ali express. Now i have another question. When trying to fit the tube into the fittings, do i need to sand down the ends that slide into the fittings? Or can i just wet the ends/apply a very thing layer of silicone grease?

Sand or your gonna end up chewing all your o-rings. I used 500 wet and my hand sander. I held the sander upside down and ran the tube over the sandpaper dipping it in water frequently. My recommendation is to round the ends a bit as the 90s tend to be much tighter. Use some silicon grease to ease them in. Get some extra o-rings as a precaution even though barrow does give you some extras with each fitting. I probably spent about 5 minutes on each end.

noted. I thought with the newer fittings all that was needed was to chamfer the very ends to prevent it from chewing up the o-rings in the fittings

I thought so too and ended up killing 10 o-rings right off the bat. Spend the time sanding and it pays off. The straight fittings are much more forgiving but the 90s (especially the dual 90s) will make you curse a lot if the end isn't done right. Good luck and I recommend 3M sandpaper as it holds up better then the cheap stuff. A sander will save you a lot of time vs doing it by hand.

ouch. i ordered all straight fittings, hopefully my bending skills are not so bad and it doesn't come back to bite me on the ass. How much would you need to sand off though??
