Barrow Fittings - Page 20

Looks good Ruff thumb.gif

Some of my o-rings were a little warpped and didn't sit well in some of my fittings, but a dab of silicone grease and just screw them on to any port should snuggle them into to place and they hold. The single 90s and the plugs were more like this, compared to the single and dual 90s. If you don't like the lime green o-ring, barrow does give you a few black ones in some fittings btw thumb.gif

Just received a bunch of stuff from Barrow for a new hardline build I'm doing. Delivery from the UK-based seller on ebay was great and I was very pleased to be able to buy everything (14mm PETG, fittings and rotaries etc) from one place.

One question for you guys, as I'm a newb at hard tubing... the compression fittings I bought all came with 2 extra O rings in the baggy with them. Do I need to put these in somewhere? These are the fittings I have..

Cheers

Edit: Asking as I put the tube into one of the fittings and you can pull it out when the compression collar is down. Is that normal?

My barrow fittings came in today as well... 4mm M-M, 2x10mm M-F, 1x20mm M-F, 1x30mm M-F.

Only thing was a bit odd was the 30mm extension was actually just two 15mm extensions connected. I guess it allows me more versatility, but still strange. lol

Quality on pieces, finish, build etc are spot on though.

I bought two black ones and was just a single piece. I guess the guy selling it to you didnt have any 30mm in stock and decided to mail you 2x15mm.

Yep black. In comparison with EK extensions I own and Bitspower extensions I own, I'd say the finish on these pieces is better than my EK, same quality as bitspower.

Not nearly as nice as my monsoon fittings and rotaries though. Those finishes are beautiful.

One of the extra o-rings goes over the tube and then the collar screws down over it to compress it against the base of the fitting.

The tube will always be able to come out if you pull hard enough but it should take a lot of force. These fittings have 3 o-rings total, so they seal like a champ. The other o-ring is an extra if you lose or damage one.

Thanks very much, that's great.

I'd also concur that the finish on these fittings is nicer than EK's.

Really? Monsoon have better quality? I always thought Bitspower has the best quality, and Monsoon is like really bad.
Also, what seller did you buy it from? And how long did it take to get to you?

How do the hardline fittings compare to monsoon hardline economy fittings, PPCS has a sale on a 6 pack for less than $10 and they have PETG tube in a more normal size*more options of tubing*

Since going hard tubing has been steadily going down in price, i want to make the switch.
