The 2000hz feature is fake, don't worry about it not working on the default firmware.

Its definitely not fake.., I tested it with polling software and it worked. I've seen it work well at higher dpi or sensitivity settings and making fast movements where the lower polling rates don't track as well though anything over 1000 works. In theory at least a 2000hz polling rate should be a little more accurate. There's also something to be said about higher hz polling and higher hz monitors.

someone link him...
basically the gladius in "2000hz" mode just sends 2 packets simultaneous every 1ms, instead of sending a new packet every 0.5ms.
so at best, it's only as good as normal 1000hz

I'll quote Haggard here:

1000Hz with split report so the rate checkers see it as averaging around .5ms. Literally officially lying. If you have a Gladius, this can be a reason to refund it. Probably sue too, but eh.

don't care about the 2000hz stuff, didn't buy it for that anyway, anything else i should know about the mouse itself ? like they say the left and right click both have 20mil click buttons but some indian site says 2 mil

http://in.ign.com/asus-rog-gladius/70392/review/asus-rog-gladius-review

so do u think they made a deal with Omron to say it's 20 mil nowadays ? or is it just IGN mistake

also did someone check the exact type of buttons that the mouse comes with, and compared it to Omron datasheet ?

if so can u list them here ? which ones u get on the mouse? and is there a "(20M) writen on them ? also the spare ones made for different feel of the clicks i hear it's 5 mil or 2 mil ??? who can clarify this

extract from https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG_Gladius/specifications/

Compatible switch list for ROG switch socket:
-Omron D2F Series switches: D2F, D2F-F, D2F-01, D2F-01F
-Omron D2FC Series switches: D2FC-3M, D2FC-F-7N, D2FC-F-7N(10M), D2FC-F-7N(20M)

Well just read that thread. Well I guess that explains why other companies with the same sensor don't have it at 2000hz. A lilttle disappointing. So are they just basically sending a copy of the information? I'd go back to my g502 with the better click latency except for the fact it's felt mushy as of late compared to the gladius. Maybe it's time I try the g900..I hate the long cables I gotta wrap up and manage. Thanks for the knowledge bomb thumb.gif

urgent question
PLEASE READ ALL I SAY in this post

I'm about to install Asus ROG

and i can choose between

latest manager driver_v1.27 + firmware_v1.29 (Fix Left click too sensitive)
or
just firmware_v1.29(Fix Left click too sensitive)

1. or should i install older driver without firmware since, at first view Lclick doesn't fee too sensitive to me at all ?
2. i asume they will increase response time for left click if i get the latest one?
3. if i chose an older manager without firmware i will keep the Lclick sensitive ? or will it just ask to get the latest anyway ?
as u can see the 1.22 doesn't have the firmware, should i try, to keep the Lclick sensitive ?

so... i installed the latest manager 1.27, when it tried to update to latest firmware i said "cancel"

now i got 1.27 manager , 1.24 firmware.

if i can't see any issue with Lclick, better not get the 1.29 firmware right ?

and another thing , atm i use 4000 DPI (light off) and i can feel it work, but wth is (light on) i haven't touched it still at 400 ? aaaa is it when the DPI button is pressed ? aka light goes On if u press it... dumb description, why not say , DPI button on, DPI button off.
