Qnix and X-Star monitors new timings and overclocking guide Club - Page 44

I overclocked my monitor a couple years ago but now it seems to not work.

I added some resolutions:

I dont see the 96Hz option in windows or CCC settings

I have 2 monitors, a 1080p as well. I turned off the desktop sharing, is there anything else I need to do? I cant remember if this works when having 2 screens

I just ordered a Crossover 2975 QHD, I plan on just overclocking to 96hz but I am confused on what exactly to do. Is there a Crossover monitor driver I need to find or do I just use the Qnix driver for mine? Also after that do I just make a 96hz custom rez in NVCP and I'm good to go? If anyone can help thanks a lot.

You don't need a driver it'll work out of the box.
Yes I believe you can overclock with just using NVCP.

Does anyone know what could be going on.

Windows 10
GTX 980ti
QNIC 2710 Evolution II Single DVI-D Input ver.

Everytime I colour calibrate or change an ICC, the colour change for a second and then revert back to the "default" setting.

is there something preventing me from changing colours? or something overriding all other changes.
I've used display adapter settings to change, tried different ICC profiles. nothing seems to change anything.

PCBs came in today - exactly what I needed. These are the ones that OC perfectly.

I had ordered two sets to get my Korean panels back up and running (and to overclock them). One got to 115hz before the panel freaked out the other to 120hz no problem (I have them both at 110hz). I did get coil whine on one set even with the bits covered as suggested. Not a big deal for me since I usually am gaming or have some background music playing while on the PC - the whine is most evident on pages with a lot of white.

I also got a 10% discount for ordering 2 sets - they told me all multi sets always get this discount. Not too shabby. $75 shipped per set (before the discount).

If you need PCBs for your LG panel, or want to OC your current one, I can say this is a solid product and seller.

Now I am set for my Evga 1080 that comes in sometime today!!! So stoked thumb.gifthumb.gif

But once you get that 1080 you won't be able to reboot your system without a black screen if over clocked past 80hz

Yup I am aware of that - been running at 80Hz waiting patiently for Nvidia's fix. Thing is a beast!

Nvidia have released another statement saying:

"We will be releasing a driver update later this week that will allow it to run at higher clocks on older DVI cables and enable all monitor modes. Thank you all for your patience"
